The Dobbs Case - And My Move To Substack

The big news of today is that a Supreme Court majority, consisting mainly of Trump appointees, has voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. Obviously, I have written an essay explaining some of my thoughts on this development (and I’ll probably write one or two more, over the next week or so, since it’s such a momentous topic). It is entitled “Why Trump Succeeded Where Others Failed” and you can read it at the new Twilight Patriot page on Substack.

Yes, that’s right, I’ve decided to move from Blogger to Substack. I have already copied the whole Twilight Patriot archive, from May of 2020 to the present day, into a series of backdated Substack posts, so that nothing essential will be lost. The Blogger version will stay up for now, but I won’t be adding to it anymore, or putting up any more links from Facebook, so if you are a follower, you will need to follow me on my Substack instead.

I have high hopes for this new platform – all evidence indicates that its easier to gain and keep followers that way. So go ahead and read my newest post, if you like it, then subscribe, and you’ll see plenty more.

Meanwhile, once this post is up I plan to finish reading Justice Alito’s opinion in the Dobbs case. Then I’ll be back to blogging, but not on this site!
